Beauty and laughter are the two most important things for us here at April's Garden. We believe that each customer is as important as the beautiful product that we give to them. We believe we have the most exquisite flower arrangements available in the Durango area and constantly strive to bring you inspired products and home decor.

As both a floral shop and boutique, Aprils Garden cultivates incredible designs for those seeking personal treasures, gifts for loved ones, and flora for events both intimate and grand.

The girls that make it all possible:

Ashley Stroup: Proprietress of April's Garden. Ashley is a native to Durango. She took over ownership of April's Garden January of 2008. Ashley has a great eye and an incredible artistic touch when it comes to her floral design. Her unerring eye is constantly bringing a new take on floral design, and she is meticulous about the quality or stems she works with. She also has incredible energy and excitement for all that she does. Ashley and her husband, Mark, live in Durango with their two boxer pups.
Tricia Bordman: Manager, Floral Designer. You'll find her in the boutique or creating exquisite bouquets in our design area. Her honest and exuberent approach to good design and care-free air are a part of what defines April's topnotch customer service. Need to know what to buy for a special someone...none other than Tricia can guide you in the right direction. Tricia has 7 years experience working in the floral industry and has been featured in Southwest Colorado Wedding guide for her exquisite wedding bouquets. Her love for organization and a smooth running ship help to perfect each detail of our shop.
Sarah Steppelmen: Boutique Staff, Floral Designer. A new acquisition to the team, Sarah has fit right in here in the design room. With a bachelors and masters in art, she is channeling her passion for fun and fresh floral design into our team projects. She thrives off of fashion magazines and loves pulling threads of good design from their glossy pages to enhance our weddings and events.
Jen DeRosa: Delivery Driver and Customer Service Extrodinaire. Jen has been a cornerstone in the community of Durango for 16 years. We feel fortunate to have Jen on our team as she lights up our shop and brings laughter to each customer she delivers to.
Vicki O'chocki: Boutique Staff. Aside from her radiant beauty, she functions as the glue that holds our world together. Vicki is sunshine itself. Our own ray of light, Vicki loves smiling at the upside of things. It's hard to know who's happier, the client or Vicki. You won't leave her presence without new knowledge and inspiration in the areas of either plants, flowers or life.
Sarah O'Reilly: Boutique Staff, Floral Assistant, and Inventory Goddess. Sarah is the reason our product is so quickly unpacked and put out for your enjoyment, and her infectious laugh has become the soundtrack of our design area.
